We told y’all to get your passports and things ready in March. POSH made sure they got stamped this time in Puerto Vallarta.
Following its sold-out debut, POSH PVR Escape returned to paradise with a bigger and more elevated experience designed for travelers craving equal parts luxury, culture, connection, and carrying on, day and night. Across four days and nine events, guests moved between rooftop celebrations, poolside parties, brunch, nightlife takeovers, beach club energy, and a yacht excursion, with just enough downtime to remember that this was, high-key, still a vacation.
The weekend began Friday on the Eden Rooftop at Alma, Puerto Vallarta’s luxury LGBTQ+ resort. With the ocean as the backdrop, the welcome party gave travelers their first opportunity to meet, mingle, reconnect, and compare exactly how much resort wear they had managed to fit into one suitcase.
Later that evening, the energy shifted from cocktails at sunset to something a little more provocative with Erotica, presented in collaboration with Deviant. The nightlife takeover offered a seductive introduction to Puerto Vallarta after dark and made one thing clear early: POSH had not brought everyone to Mexico to stay inside their rooms.
Saturday delivered the weekend’s most anticipated event, the POSH Pool Party powered by Carterwear at Mantamar Beach Club. A longtime favorite among returning guests, the pool party brought POSH’s signature blend of music, fashion, and social energy, with a mix of the who’s who of Black queer nightlife, Insta baddies, and dozens of OOMFs.
Between the infinity pool, ocean views, and a crowd that understood serving body in swimwear was both a fashion show and a competitive sport, the afternoon captured what makes the PVR Escape work. It was luxurious without becoming stiff, social without feeling forced, and lively enough to make “just one drink by the pool” an unrealistic promise.
The weekend continued with brunch, rooftop moments, and a yacht party that took the POSH experience out onto the water. Guests had opportunities to explore, recharge, and connect beyond the dance floor, whether over breakfast, during an oceanfront wellness moment, or somewhere between a group photo and another round of cocktails. That balance is central to the POSH PVR experience. Yeah, the getaway is built for partying, but it also recognizes that a good escape should include some mixing and mingling outside of the itinerary.
Connection remained just as important as celebration. The return of the POSH Brunch created space for travelers, creatives, professionals, and innovators from around the world to build relationships beyond the nightlife circuit. What begins as a vacation conversation can easily become a content collaboration or future business opportunity, especially when everyone is relaxed, bodies are out, and folks are hanging around the pool. The POSH White Party served as one of the weekend’s major finales, hosted by Bobby Lytes and featuring a performance by Lolita Leopard.
