The World of Red Ball is The Center’s signature World AIDS Day event, using the art of voguing to honor the perseverance and strength of LGBTQ+ people living with HIV and AIDS. Presented in partnership with Jean Paul Gaultier and hosted by Icon NYC Father Yohon Tisci and International Father Will Chanel, the annual ball stands as both a tribute and a call to community.
The Red Ball creates a safe space to reflect, celebrate, and uplift. It honors those we have lost to HIV and AIDS while spotlighting those who continue to fight with resilience and purpose. As we enter year four, the mission remains clear: to curate a thoughtful experience rooted in education, engagement, and support for one of the communities most impacted by HIV and AIDS, the ballroom community.
The night brought out all the scene’s legends statements and stars with Legendary DJ Byrell The Great on the decks with Jack Gorgeous Gucci and Kirk “Boom” Pressley commanding the mic.
