SOMArts, in collaboration with Oakland To All, presented The Luminesce Ball: An Evening of Fashion, Runway, and Vogue, celebrating the talent, creativity, and community of the Bay Area’s House and Ballroom scene.
TENz was on the scene in San Francisco “with the gurls in the back of the room” to capture category walkers throughout the evening, which featured commentary by Icon Dashaun Basquiat, beats by DJ Spider, and a pre-show hosted by Aurris Garçon. The pre-show also included a culminating performance from SOMArts’ all-levels workshop series.
Competitors took the floor for OTA Runway: Met Gala, OTA Performance, Best Dressed, OTA Face, and Tattoo vs. Tattoo, a signature category unique to the Bay Area.
