CATS: The Jellicle Ball Panel w/ Works & Process at Guggenheim New York

Broadway met Ballroom! Works & Process at Guggenheim New York presented a sneak peek of the wildly acclaimed, award-winning production of CATS: The Jellicle Ball before it ascends to Broadway. Performers delivered a kaleidoscope of glittering spectacle, iconic music, and electrifying Ballroom choreography that The New York Times called “a lightning strike that sets joy free!”

Based on T. S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s worldwide phenomenon CATS: The Jellicle Ball was reimagined in a record-breaking, award-winning production that left New York City purring.

Co-director Bill Rauch, choreographers and New York City Ballroom legends Omari Wiles of the House of Oricci and Arturo Lyons of the House of Miyake-Mugler, and music supervisor and director William Waldrop joined a discussion moderated by TENz Magazine founder Sailey Williams.
Cast members Kya Azeen, Jonathan Burke, Baby Byrne, Bryce Farris, Dava Huesca, Dudney Joseph Jr., and Primo Thee Ballerino performed highlights from the production.
CATS: The Jellicle Ball begins previews on March 18, 2026, and will open on April 7, 2026 at Broadway’s Broadhurst Theatre in New York City. For tickets, please visit catsthejellicleball.com.
