After making it through a year of canceled in-person events and celebrating Pride 2020 virtually “In The House” it was A Slight Return Of The Gurls. The unexpected lifting of restrictions in NYC and the advancement of the vaccination plan allowed the TENz team 10 days to put an epic event together to reunite us with our community.
The extra hype crowd enjoyed sickening sets from Mazurbate, Byrell The Great, and DJ 5 Of Spades. Rising trans rapper Ky Ani brought the “Smoke” in her debut performance and unapologetic house & battle rapper Cakes Da Killa performed the new single “Don Dada“ in our Pump The Beat playlist for weeks.
