Rappers Damez and Kidd Kenn hit the iconic Globe Theatre stage in Downtown LA recently for #ENCORE – Los Angeles’ live high energy LGBTQ event experience hosted by Actor/Event Producer Brandon Anthony. Not only did they understand the assignment, they WERE the assignment!
Damez hit the stage, performing fan favorites like ‘Pull Up’ from his D Money album and blessed new favorites with performances of ‘TikTok’, ‘We Outside’ and the smash hit ‘Up Down’ from his summer 2020 #COVERBOY release. Damez took his production to a new level with his choreography infused visuals and ultimately delivered one of the most talked about performances of the night.
Kidd Kenn, still very much reeling from the high of his historic 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards cypher, performed a medley of hits, including his sizzling remix to #B4 featuring Saucy Santanna. He further enriched the crowd with performances of records like ‘Gold Digger (fr. Dess Doir) and ‘Moves (ft. Rico Nasty).
The Globe Theatre x #ENCORE event was lit to say the least. Drinks were flowing while the community and everyone from DJs Asia Shabazz, Monte Christo, hosts Zellswag, SMITH Worldwide, Princethoon, artist Curtis J, Dai Burger, and Hypemanbizzy were vibing out. Anyone who came out that night, left satisfied with their Friday evening.
