Watch What Happens At The Abbey is a series that goes inside the lives of the employees at the world-famous gay hot spot, The Abbey Food & Bar, in the heart of West Hollywood. The staffers wrangle VIP guests and celebrities while dealing with relationship drama, diverse sexuality and the pursuit of their individual Hollywood dreams, all set in an exciting backdrop that is quintessentially Los Angeles. Check out our interview with Frank Pena who gave us the season’s most gag worthy moment.

You work at one of the most iconic bars in LA. What’s the best part about working there and the nightlife scene?
It’s Intense ! People party so hard in L.A and The Abbey is always jam packed with all kinds of characters! I love the nightlife scene but I prefer to party instead . I also hate the cut off is 2am in L.A ! Boring!
So you had quite the start on “ What Happens At The Abbey.” Tell us how things are going now? Are you and Brandy on better terms?
Honestly , I don’t get along with half of them . I think they’re fake , why talk shit about me and then smile in my face . In regard to her ,the girl is corny af , she’s irrelevant. She needs to worry about her clown make up. I have a few friends who can help get her together but too bad!
Is there anyone on the cast that you are close with?
My bro Daniel Eid ! He’s this hilarious dude from Minnesota and lives right down the block from me ! He’s a mess and a half and I can relate.
Earlier this month you posted a compilation video of you dancing. Tell us a little bit about that.
I’ve been dancing for so many years !I’ve done so many random jobs that it’s so hard to get all that footage so I post a few here and there . I need to show case my talent you know , This is what I’m trying to do full time .
What inspires you to dance?
My struggle ! I grew up always being bullied and my parents worked all the time so I wasn’t able to express myself to anyone. Dance is how I learn to express everything I felt . If I don’t dance I just blow up ! Literally .
Any chance we will see you dancing on the show?
No , Not at all . I would of love for the show to showcase my actual talent but it is Hollywood . They prefer to show all this drama for only God knows what reason . All my dancing scenes were cut and it’s irritating .
Do you have any upcoming projects we should be on the lookout for?
I’m working on a visual project focused on Fashion meets dance meets Frank . I’m still finalizing my ideas and I’m going back to New York to start filming in the fall.
