Who is your favorite person to follow on Instagram?
I actually have two favorites, @Brandonligons & @Brandonst.regis who I ended up meeting the same night at a Battle Hymm party. I find them both incredibly stylish, they share an obsession with luxury.
@brandonst.regis is not only fly AF, he is hilarious and also so down to earth.
@brandonligons and I have the same taste in men, she also travels the world while creating a collage of must see places.
What motivated you to choose a healthier lifestyle?
I decided to become vegan a couple years ago, initially for the physical aspect. I wanted to be runway sample size, thin enough for the wind to blow. It wasn’t until after I became vegan that I realized the health benefits of avoiding certain animal based products.
What’s the first thing you notice about a person that you are interested in?
I notice their scent. I’ve always had an obsession with fragrances, and I find it very attractive to complete an aesthetic with a fragrance.
What drives your sense of style?
Style is my obligation, as if it’s my duty to present my beauty in a polished and universal manner. Being a wardrobe consultant for elite men requires me to present the best version of myself at all times.
What was the first ball you’ve ever attended and what were your thoughts on the experience?
Many moons ago, the first ball I attended I actually walked; it was a mini ball in bmore. I walked bqid realness and made it to the last battle but was sat by my sister @deeplydonna who I met that night .
You’re a new Face Girl in The Ballroom Scene, besides face, which other categories would you walk?
Being the new face girl, has been quite an interesting experience. Being confident and secure as a person isn’t the same as having to sell your beauty to other people. I’m used to owning every room I walk in, but to be expected to brag about my beauty and actually SELL IT, it’s like school; having to prove you did your homework to the teachers. If I were to pick a different category for myself, it would be something aligned with my aura. SEXSIREN, is a category I could really relax and enjoy myself in.
What’s one tip you can give the kids on skincare?
Skin care?? @Diamondfacez is skin care in the flesh. I’ve never struggled with acne, I truly believe it’s avoiding sugary products. I don’t drink sodas or juices unless it’s freshly squeezed and even that’s sporadic, because it isn’t good to over consume. I don’t eat candy, but chocolate is my weakness. In the end, sit down & drink some water!
