All eyes on me in the center of the ring, just like a CIRCUS!
TENz had the pleasure of curating Pride Under The Big Top in collaboration with The Big Apple Circus, marking another successful year in celebration of their 47th anniversary season at Lincoln Center. The event showcased a vibrant mix of talent, inclusivity, and joy, all while supporting the invaluable work of Broadway Cares.
This year’s Pride Night featured a star-studded performance with a memorable guest appearance from Broadway actor J Harrison Ghee, who served as the guest Ringmaster for the evening. The event raised vital awareness and funds for Broadway Cares, an organization dedicated to providing healthcare, social services, and advocacy for those in need, especially within the LGBTQ+ community.
The event boasted an electrifying mix of queer and nightlife figures including celebrated designers Kingsley and Llessur, Broadway performers Marcus Williams and Dudney Joseph, ballroom royalty Lynda PinkLady, Tutu West, Starr Revlon, Javier DMV, Teo Juicy, Tygier, Lolita Leopard, and Snookie West. The nightlife scene was also represented by Vanity LaVain, Jaemy Paris, fitness trainer J.Malik, and NicoAesthetics, all coming together for a spectacular night of art, joy, and community celebration.
Pride Under The Big Top was more than just a circus; it was a poignant reminder of the importance of LGBTQ+ representation. Through entertainment, advocacy, and celebration, the event emphasized the power of visibility and solidarity in the ongoing fight for equality.
