Moi Renee was one of the dolls of New York’s queer nightlife scene in the 90’s, bringing her live performances to The Shelter, Midtown 43, Tracks, One Hot Spot and Better Days.
Moi Renee released one Dance single titled, “Miss Honey” during the early 1990s. It was made available on 12″ Vinyl Record from Project X Records. The song received heavy airplay at the gay dance clubs, tea dances, and balls in 1992.
Moi Renee tragically passed away in 1997, but YouTube introduced a new generation to the ovahness of Moi Renee when a clip of her performing live on The Sybil Bruncheon show was uploaded in 2008. “The Bitch Knew That I’d Be Back!”
