The cast of 1990’s ballroom documentary Paris Is Burning have captivated audiences with their life stories for decades, but two uncredited cast members has the internet asking for a “Where Are They Now?”.

The two teenage boys filmed on West 43rd Street & 8th Avenue in Times Square charmed viewers with their candor, resilience and street smarts while equally evoking concern for their survival in a time when youth homelessness for “Pier Kids” were at its peak. 

Desperate for updates, over the years folks have assumed or even directly claimed the current identity of the teens. After a user on Twitter falsely claimed that “Blue shirt” was “Miss Josephine” we officially had ENOUGH and needed to piece the actual story together!

After a YouTube comment by Anthony P in 2020 followed by some factchecking with Ballroom elders we were able to conjure up the conclusion that he is “Blue Shirt, currently still living in NYC.
