While they may not be mainstream topics of conversation or household names just yet, subscription websites like OnlyFans.com are becoming more and more familiar to LGBTQ communities throughout the world. As early as the internet existed, the monetization of sex work online has proliferated, from early porn download sites to more contemporary video sharing and modern webcam services. Selling subscription services that allow users to view videos or the watch live webcam feeds of professional or amateur sex workers has indeed flourished online for years already. So while OnlyFans and similar websites are not particularly new in concept, they perhaps offer a more user friendly and trendy vehicle for a particular type of sex work, allowing a wider group of people to use the site as content creators and consumers. Here in the US, gay men and trans women seem to be driving the growth of these apps as the landscape of sex work is changing and cultural attitudes within queer communities are shifting and evolving. In particular, OnlyFans and sites like it appear to be emerging as a path for LGBTQ sex workers of color to potentially completely revolutionize not only the nature of their sex work but also to reap unprecedented financial rewards.
Why did you decide to create an OnlyFans / JustForFans account?
One day, I was organizing nudes & bulge content and ended up with a folder of about 650+ clips. Figured it was worth sharing some of the content that had never seen the light of day.
Were you doing any other type of sex work before (escorting, porn, cam, etc)?
Actually, yes. It started a few years ago in college; met a man on the apps who’d regularly pay to blow me. Eventually, I made a freak twitter and found kinksters that enjoyed my scent also. 2016, I moved to NYC and Gogo-danced for quick cash and free drink tickets for months—23 was fun, lol.
Your account is a mix of professional and semi-professional photos, how important is that type of curation to your following?
I’ve worked for years to learn and appreciate my body for it’s raw beauty. A big part of that has been realizing my raunchy, dominant, submissive, sensual, and goofy selves all exist and I want that to translate through my scenarios. Also — a lot of these dudes do the SAME THING. I honestly enjoy being creative with it.
With regard to sex work, do you feel that using OnlyFans offers you more personal safety than relying on escorting or having to meet clients in person? It’s a Catch-22. Safer health practices than meeting people IRL, yes. However, the curse of the internet. Once it’s out there — it’s out there. Lol. In the beginning, that created more anxiety than I’ve ever had in-person. Now, I’m like f**k it.
Were you concerned about being “exposed” or the social/cultural stigma associated with sex work/pornography?
Sometimes. I’ve always had my interests in sex, whether it’s being an advocate for sex workers or for destigmatizing cultural ideals on sex, etc. This has actually given me the confidence to chase whatever dreams I have because I’ve already made the world my audience.
How do you market & promote your account?
It’s been mostly IG + Twitter. Started with target posts post in my Close Friends & now I’m connecting with some of my favorites for potential collaboration. Only tip – remove your family before you Upload. ha.
How many monthly subscribers do you have?
Currently, it’s about 35-40 freaks, give or take the day, with about 7 or 8 having 3+ month subscriptions.
I do a lot of custom work, tbh. And selling soiled undies has become the real bread & butter.
Shoutout to the loyal funky kinksters — I appreciate you stink pigs. My scent is yours.
What physical asset do you think your followers enjoy the most?
Depends on who you ask, lol. I actually have a more taboo OF (DM request only) and those freaks love my raunchier side, namely my hole—pigs. For kyunlckd, it’s def my body hair and foreskin. Uncut papi here.
Your account is a mix of exhibition posts and solo vids, which do you enjoy recording the most?
The exhibition posts are a personal favorite. The rush of public play used to bug me, but now? Shhhhiiiiddd. I’m game. So game. Now to find my voyeur content-bae. WYA CONTENT-BAE?
How has having an OnlyFans account affected your dating life?
Well, all my partners know about it and none have said anything but positive words. If they feel contrary, they know to keep it to themselves though. It’s kinda hard to say about my view since I didn’t have OF pre-COVID, but I do know it’s made me want to open up even more with those I know that live vicariously through me. I also hook up A LOT less now that I have OF. I can bust better nuts with my toys.
Do you feel pressure to offer certain types of content to keep your subscribers interested?
In a way. I’m a little shy about posting content I have with others, because once you bust it wide open — it’s hard to keep folks attention otherwise. A lot of my content is more ‘Naked Fun’ or ’Stealth Voyeur Moments’ rather than ‘Breed it Raw’, so it can be a challenge to retain some that only want that. Cus again, a lot of my interaction is through DMs or my kink page. I’m just beginning to marry the two worlds.
There are PLENTY of OF w/ non-stop aggressive, pounding content — neither of mine are that.
I don’t even enjoy sex like that. I’m a kinkster. Full out.
So with that, I’m just starting to really market it for what it is, me as a sex-positive Fantasy Fulfiller. Tell me what you want to see, I make it happen. You can pick the color, cut & brand for the pair of undies I’m getting dirty for you. Choose where I shoot my next voyeur scene — I scream your name while busting a big one, for you.
There’s so much coming as I settle back in the A. It’s about to BANG.
Any other general observations about your experience using OnlyFans?
Well, I’ll say this for anyone considering it — it’s a platform like all others. Make the content YOU want to make. If you’re not trying to be the next Great American Pornstar, that’s f**king okay. Just do you & make it look nice, because we can tell if and when you don’t mean it.
