Reading Rainbow Kiki Ball @ New York Public Library

The Reading Rainbow Kiki Ball at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts celebrated LGBTQIA+ Pride and honored the skills and style that have made ballroom the cultural force it is today while also honoring contemporary dancers of the form. 
Courtney “Balenciaga” Washington’s MasterZ at Work Dance Family kicked off the festivities performing Works & Process commissioned dances in the library’s Bruno Walter Auditorium. Q&A moderated by TENz Magazine’s Sailey Williams, a leading ballroom journalist.

Immediately following, the crowd blinged out their heels, and got ready for the runway in an Open To All 4 category Kiki Ball with commentator Snookie Juicy West and DJ Belinda in the library’s Café.
