Lena Waithe accepted the Trailblazer Award for her incredible work creating The Chi, writing on Master of None and appearing in Ready Player at the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards. Lena used her acceptance speech to thank the Ballroom Scene’s pioneers featured in Paris Is Burning for their influence on pop culture.
