BET Celebrates 29 Days of Black Queer Excellence
BET makes network strives for LGBTQ inclusivity.
Each day in February, BET has been posting a photo of a different black LGBTQ creator on Instagram as part of its monthlong #29DaysOfQueerExcellence social campaign, including TENz Co-Founders Sailey Williams + Dashaun Wesley.
“It’s vital to understand that Black queer history IS Black History and our freedom would be impossible if not for the contributions made by those in the LGBTQ+ community. So, we created #BETQueerAF to celebrate the beauty, power, and diversity of everyday Black queer artists, activists, entrepreneurs and thought leaders.”
